Hagfors is a charming town in the province of Värmland, located approximately 1,400 kilometers from Amsterdam. The location of Hus Björken is easily accessible from the Netherlands and Belgium. Whether you choose a scenic road trip, a relaxing ferry crossing, or a quick flight: there are several comfortable travel options to reach our accommodation.

Travelling by Car
For those who prefer to travel to our accommodation by car, there are several routes available.
The route takes you through Germany and Denmark, crossing the impressive Great Belt Bridge and the Öresund Bridge. This journey offers not only stunning views but also the flexibility and freedom of a road trip, allowing you to travel at your own pace.
Travelling by Car and Ferry
A popular option is the route via Germany to Puttgarden, where you can take a short ferry crossing to Rødby in Denmark. This crossing takes only 45 minutes and provides a nice break from driving. From Rødby, you continue your journey across the Great Belt Bridge and the Öresund Bridge into Sweden.
Alternatively, you can choose a longer, relaxing ferry crossing from Kiel to Gothenburg. This journey takes about 14 hours and offers the opportunity to sleep comfortably on board overnight. You can enjoy a delicious dinner on board and wake up refreshed the next morning with an extensive breakfast. From Gothenburg, it’s only a 300-kilometer drive to our holiday home in Hagfors, making this route both relaxing and efficient.

Travelling by Air
Looking to shorten your travel time? Flying is an adventurous alternative. Most guests fly from the Netherlands or Belgium to Stockholm Arlanda. From there, you can rent a car for a beautiful 3.5-hour drive to Värmland.
